MONTGOMERY, AL - Willie James Booth Jr. 66, a truck driver for AAA Cooper Transportation, was killed Saturday after being pinned between two transfer truck trailers.

An investigation has shown that Booth was attempting to adjust several hydraulic cables when he was pinned.

The Alabama State Troopers motor carrier inspection unit was on hand, and has ruled the death an accident.

AUBURN, AL.- A 20-year employee of East Alabama Paving Company of Opelika, died on site in Auburn Monday.

Ronald Gary Taunten, of Columbus Georgia was directing heavy equipment when he was crushed by a dump truck.

Witnesses say that every safety measure was taken to prevent this kind of accident from happening. Taunten was wearing his safety vest, and the alarm on the truck was operational.

Officials are investigating the surroundings of the accident.
