At approximately 4 a.m. Helmert DeLacruz, 24, of Keasbey lost control of his Mercury Mountaineer SUV at mile marker 99.9 at the front of the Wall service station with his vehicle flipping over several times before coming to a stop.

DeLacruz was declared dead at the scene.

Another crash on Parkway injures 4

At roughly 2 a.m. Sunday morning a three-car accident occurred at Parkway mile marker 99.6 on the southbound side, resulting in four people suffering injuries, three who are juveniles, officials said.

The most serious injury occurred to 37 year-old Zulma Diaz, of Dover, who was driving a 2005 Chrysler mini van. She was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where she is now on life support, listed in critical condition, said state trooper Chris Griffin who is investigating the accident.

Three other people who were in either the BMW or tow truck were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The two other vehicles involved in the crash were a 2006 BMW and a 2000 tow truck, Griffin said. Drivers and passengers in the other two vehicles have not been identified yet.

Police said the accident started when the driver of the BMW side swiped the tow truck, which then crashed into the Chrysler mini van.

Wall Twp. Fire Department and Wall Twp. First Aid squad and MONOC paramedics responded to the accident.
