CLAVERACK, New York -- State Police are at the scene of a fatal truck accident that happened earlier this morning on Route 9H.
Police received a call around 8:30 a.m., saying a pickup truck and a flatbed tractor-trailer had collided near County Route 27, Trooper Carmen Martino of the Livingston barracks said.
The trooper said the local roads were slippery this morning, but the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
Martino said the State Police accident reconstruction team is at the scene and more information will be released when it becomes available. A section of Route 9H is closed while the reconstruction team works.
