Ulster Park, N.Y. - Upstate authorities say a truck driver caused a fiery crash that ignited a warehouse full of illegal fireworks.
The crash happened on Route 9W in Ulster County.
Police said a dump truck driven by 55-year-old Jeffrey Kays made an illegal U-turn and was hit by a fuel truck Tuesday.
Both drivers got out of their vehicles before the fuel truck exploded. But a nearby warehouse owned by a sign company called Ande Rooney caught fire.
Kays was charged with reckless driving and aggravated unlicensed driving.
The company was charged with unlawfully dealing fireworks.
