According to Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce Dudley, a complete report and investigation into the fatal Highway 154 gravel truck accident will not be handed over to the DA's office today.
Dudley says the CHP should have a report completed by no sooner than October 8th.
Investigators had hoped to have completed an investigation into the deadly accident by October 1st.
On August 24th, a semi-truck carrying over 20-tons of gravel reportedly lost it's brakes and slammed into a Santa Barbara home, killing a family of three.
The driver of that truck was identified as 61-year-old Oxnard resident, Joaquin Morales.
