FARMINGTON, Conn. — Police say one person is dead in a crash between a car and a dump truck on Route 4 in Farmington.
The accident at about 10 a.m. on Tuesday prompted police to close a portion of the road between High Street and the Interstate 84 ramp for about five hours. It was reopened to traffic Tuesday afternoon.
Two other people were injured.
The name of the victim was not immediately made public.
